After the first pre-alpha release in february 2024, some features have been added to Radio System Toolbox. This is the first blog post devoted to report new functionalities, which will be followed by others time to time.

Feature summary

  6. Microstrip Stub
  7. Lumped 90-deg Quadrature Hybrid
  8. Pivot table view to visualize parametric FD simulation results
  9. You can now create your own pivot tables using any of the analyzed results (SNR, SNDR, NF, OIP2/3, Power...) and sweep parameters as rows/columns/series
  10. Several fixed bugs, detected on pre-alpha testing


Feature focus: Touchstone File Viewer

Touchstone File Viewer is a new lightweight free online tool included in the Toolbox. The purpose of the tool is to enable users to create visualizations based on Touchstone files, without having to create a circuit. S-parameters from different blocks can be overlapped, then helping the comparison among measured datasets or build-in models.

Each visualization can be saved as a Radio System Toolbox project. Indeed, any existing project in your Radio System Toolbox account can also be visualized using the Touchstone File Viewer. Project and blocks-per-project limitations of Free subscriptors apply.

As per today, Radio System Toolbox is still a pre-alpha application. Site performance & user experience are still under optimization, and cannot be guaranteed. For that reason, Radio System Toolbox is still not advertised and user billing is disabled.
